Katrina was a psychology major, before she dropped out. She thought it was depression, but it turned out to be schizoaffective disorder, a diagnosis she still doesn’t fully understand. The Sunflowers Are Watching moves through the seasons of that garden center — and through mental illness, worth, and how the mind scrambles for meaning.
